A blend that has been roasted since 1865 with a top-secret recipe that has been handed down the generations. A smooth, all day coffee with a full body.
Grown in Magdalena on the Sierra Navada de Santa Marta mountain range on the North Coast of Colombia facing the Caribbean Sea. The beans are washed and sundried which gives the coffee a clean and bright taste and brings out fruity and acidic flavours.
A stronger tasting coffee, with a medium to heavy body. Our Mexican coffee is classified as Strictly High Grown (SHG), this specifies that the coffee was grown at an altitude around 1350 metres, Coffee grown at a higher altitude and lower temperature produces a slower maturing fruit and a denser bean; which creates a more desirable brew.
This dark roast has a full body with a sharp and fruity acidity. Kenyan beans are known for a bright taste with berry tones but this longer roast brings out a dark chocolate aftertaste which contrasts nicely with the sharper starting flavours.
