Our Daughter visited this producer when in Costa Rica and this delicious coffee roasted on the plantation when she tasted it turned her from a non coffee drinker to a devote of the all things coffee. For this reason and we needed no other really we had to stock this excellent bean which delivers a superb cup of coffee and has become a firm favourite amongst our customers and many friends we meet out and about. This El Jaguar Dark Roast coffee comes from a group of small producers in Mexico. This coffee comes from the high-altitude area of the Sierra Madre, bordering the biosphere reserve El Trifuno.
The weather is humid with lots of shade, cool conditions at night and excellent soil, which together create a perfect environment for the development of specialty coffee this bean has a cupping score of 84.5 which is just below speciality grade but we just love this coffee.
A small group of producers harvest and process the El Jaguar. Following harvesting, it is de-pulped, fermented and washed, before it is sun-dried.

G1 Sidamo – Ana Sora Guji
This coffee is produced on a private farm owned by Israel Degfa, it covering 250 hectaresIt is situated alongside the river Turo and at an extremely high altitude near the town of Yirgacheffe, this allows for a slower maturation of the coffee cherry and gives more time for the plant to develop.
Cherries are hand-sorted for unripes and overripes before they go into flotation tanks, where the cherries are covered with water. Any cherries that float are removed. Whole, ripe cherries are then dried in the sunshine on raised African drying beds laid out on hessian cloths for about 15-18 days.
In the cup expect an amazing Ethiopian natural that’s very similar to Parma Violet sweets, a clean taste with hints of Blueberry juice with a floral aroma. Cupping score of 86
