August 2020 Tea of the Month
Green Rooibos (Red bush) is produced almost exclusively in South Africa.
All Rooibos teas are anti-oxidants, but because Green Rooibos production involves less processing, it actually contains 10 times more anti-oxidants than Red Rooibos. It is also naturally caffeine-free, so is a go-too healthy option. It has a natural clean aftertaste.
Blending the sweet green rooibos with refreshing mango flowers and fruits, results in a crisp, citrus flavour-explosion. It is perfect as a hot tea, but is very well suited to use as an iced drink during the Summer.
How to brew:
1.Add one teaspoon per cup.
2.Use water just slightly off the boil in order not to destroy the full flavour of this tea. Leave water to cool for two minutes then,
3.Brew for 3-5 minutes according to taste
Type of Tea – Green with fruit
Colour in cup – Light Amber
Taste – A fruit floral aroma. Sweet, light grass flavour laced with tropical fruit
